Description
This is an overall fine copy of this RARE first pressing of Social Distortion's landmark debut LP from 1983. The thick gatefold sleeve has one bent corner (see photo), and otherwise some light corner wear, light ring wear on the back cover, and light wear along the spine and seams (EX). As for the disc, side A is clean with some light scuffing, but lacks the glossiness of M/M- copies (EX). Side B has some scratches and other marks on it. I gently ran the back of my fingernail over the ones that looked suspect, and one that runs through most of track 3 and all of track 4 feels like it will affect play in a few places. Side 2 graded conservatively: VG. Overall disc grading: VG+.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs (since I no longer have a turntable), and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
