SOFT MACHINE Triple Echo (Harvest SHTW 800) RARE 1st Press 3-LP UK Box Set MINT!
RARE original UK first pressing of the three-album Soft Machine compilation "Triple Echo" on Harvest Records (March 1977). Includes a 16-page booklet and three records, with each disc housed in an individually printed card inner sleeve.
Spanning the first ten years of this seminal jazz-rock band`s career, "Triple Echo" includes Soft Machine`s first single "Love Makes Sweet Music" b/w "Feelin` Reelin` Squeelin`", rare non-album tracks such a Hugh Hopper`s lovely "Memories", the original John Peel Show version of Robert Wyatt`s "The Moon In June", as well as the only surviving BBC live recordings of the short-lived Soft Machine septett lineup (November 1969), to be found exclusively on "Triple Echo"!
GRADING:
EX BOX COVER with minor storage wear. Please see photos for details.
- Original laminated box in very fine all-round condition.
- A few minor creases along the edges, as well as to the opening flaps themselves. The flaps are fully intact.
- Minor scuffing to the corners.
- Includes three original custom-printed cardboard inner sleeves in MINT- condition, with 2-3 minor beginnings of seam splits, as shown in the photos.
- Also comes with 16-page full colour booklet in MINT- condition with a few very lightest creases.

MINT- RECORDS, bought all those years ago and played perhaps once or twice. Practically perfect.
- Play-graded MINT- with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read as follows:
