Description

Okay, another White Stripes-related rarity: here's the Soledad Brothers' s/t LP on RED VINYL and in perfect condition! Jack White recorded all 13 songs (including the killer Hound Dog Taylor cover, "Gimme Back My Wig") to 4-track in Detroit, and Meg White lent her percussion skills to the album as well. And even deeper in the Detroit vein, the almighty John Sinclair (leader of the MC5's ill-fated White Panther Party in the late '60s, early '70s) wrote the liner notes for (printed on the back of the LP). The songs, as you know because you're reading this, are incredible blues-oriented garagy blasts of Detroit rock 'n' roll.

Both the cover and vinyl are in excellent shape, as this was just played once and stored with great care. If you dig the Detroit scene and the White Stripes in particular, you shouldn't live without this. The limited red vinyl version is long out of print (as is the black vinyl version), so don't pass this up!
