Dark Side of the Moon

Catalogue- SHVL 804
This is the original first pressing of DSOTM, solid blue triangle labels, A2 B2 matrix endings, together with ONE posters and ONE sticker.
Condition
Record-GOOD+ There are noticeable surface marks effecting both sides, light hairlines surface rubbing marks, various light marks/ whispy surface marks. However nothing overly heavy or feelable, (one extremly small feelable mark at the begining of GREAT GIG IN THE SKY see audio grading). Labels clean some light wear ande minor marks, spindle marks etc. The record has been cleaed using a Project Mk1 cleaner, which has helped both the visual grade and audible grade.
I have listened to the record throughout on various systems. There are some internmitent light audible background noises in places, some light occasinal pops and ticks but consistently plays well, generaly any audible issues are lower in the mix and tend to be more apparent in quieter passages run ins and outs of tracks etc.
There is one very small skip at the beginning on Great Gig in the Sky. This appears to be the only skip noticed. There is some more noticeable surface noise at the beginning of BREATHE, a series of approx 5 louder ticks during the intro, then 3 rotations of muffle/distortion, which resolves. Some other periods of light background noise but generally lower in the mix. I would grade the audio as Very Good, better than the visual grade.
Sleeve GOOD, the sleeve is the original slighty blue version as expected with 1st pressings, there is some rubbing surface marks and wear showing throughout including the gatefold inner, rubbing to edges and corners, with some creasing and handling wear. The rear of the sleeve showing some ring wear with what appears to be paint speckling light writing impression showing. Some light smudges and storage wear showing, spine is rubbed but not split, inner gatefold has a couple of small paint marks but generally clean presenting much better.
Poster, some light handling creases and minor wear showing but clean and well presented, VERY GOOD. Sticker EXCELLENT.
Generally this would likely not appeal to people wanting a high grade copy without issue but perhaps someone looking for an affordable example of the original UK pressing of one of the most iconic albums of the 20th century.
