Solid Jackson Record 12" LP Released on Sing, Eunuchs! Records in 1995 . 18 songs. Hand made covers. Vinyl is in very good shape. An influential indie rock band from Omaha circa '93-96. Bright Eyes even wrote a song about them called "Solid jackson" as a tribute to the band. Out of print fpr years now. I'm not sure how many were pressed, but 500 or less is a good estimate. Solid Jackson was an indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. They played with Nebraska bands like Culture Fire, Frontier Trust, Polecat, Fischer, Mousetrap, Cactus Nerve Thang, Truck Johnson, Commander Venus, Ritual Device, Sideshow, Clayface, etc. The also had the opportunity to open for national acts like Railroad Jerk, Shiner and Butterglory. In 1995, the boys recessed into the basement of Casa de Eunuch with Simon Joyner to record what would be their first full length, Solid Jackson Record. In record time that would make the heads of the Minutemen and Firehose spin, the boys recorded and mixed the record. It was released that year with a limited run of hand constructed and hand painted (gold, silver and maroon) covers. John Peel played it on his radio show and most of the copies sold were sold in Japan or the Netherlands. Please check out the other items I have for sale and contact me with any questions. Thanks!
