Please note that in spite of the fact that our items are listed on different sites at the same time (Ebay.com, Ebay UK and Ebay Germany), it is possible to bid on any item, no matter where you are located, combine your bids, save on shipping & pay in one and only currency of your choice. Due to a problem with accepted payment methods Ebay removed some of my items and i had to cancel bids on other items in order to relist these. Hoping this causes no major inconveniences to those who were "watching" or already bidding, all items have been relisted just as they were initially, however with a period of only 5 days! Which means now that items will end on the 6th and 7th!!
So here goes:
SOMEONES BAND- Cover is EX, still retaining the original shine, this is a flipback cover with some ringwear in the back, 1 small tear (hardly noticeable) on the upper edge and 1 tiny little piece of the left inferior corner hatched, nothing serious though. Also has a visible but not too disturbing ringwear in the back, which is present in all copies i have seen. Vinyl is between EX+ and MINT- (would be Mint- if not for a couple of fainth hairlines visible under strong light). This is definitely a TOP copy and a very tough one to score on the DERAM label. Garanteed Original pressing from 1970, DERAM SML 1068 made in the UK. Stamped dead wax matrix number reads on side 1 XZAL 9879P 2W and on side 2 XZAL 9880P 2W. As seen in Pokora vol 1001 with 4 stars. Listed in the record collector for 800 euros in lesser condition!
This is also taken from the record collector site: This group got together via word of mouth and an advert in Melody Maker. They made a demo for Decca, who then sanctioned this album, which is now a monster rarity. Given that it was recorded in the course of a single night, it's a surprisingly polished and varied collection of progessive blues and soul. Also the influence of jazz, funk and African music is evident. Acoustic guitars meet wild electric guitar solos with a bluesy vocalist.
