ITEM:   The Legendary Son House, Father Of The Folk Blues. Very rare collection of Delta Blues as performed by Son House. Recorded on Columbia Records label, catalog number CS-9217.

COMMENTS/CONDITION:   I have a few more Blues LPs that I will be listing as time permits. Please check back to see my current inventory.

This is NOT a Record Club issue, worn-out ex-library item, or a cut-out. It came from a private collection and has no punch holes, saw cut notches, or clipped corners.

Vinyl is in excellent, clean condition with a nice, glossy sheen. Record has no cracks, deep scratches, chips, or excessive groove wear. Center hole is perfectly round with no signs of repeated playing. There are a few superficial scuffs and hairline marks that are cosmetic only and do not affect the playback or enjoyment of the songs. On my system, both sides played through quietly, with no clicks, pops, or irritating background noise. Sound quality was close to that of a new LP.

Labels look like new. There are no tears, peeling edges, writing, tape, or stains.

Inner sleeve is a non-scratching, anti-static V.R.P. sleeve.

Cover is in VG/VG+ condition. Seams and spine are solid with no splits. Cover photo and lettering are crisp and clear. There are no stickers, labels, price tags, tape, writing, or nasty stains of unknown origin. Minor ring wear/rubbing and slight shelf wear to the edges can be seen. The lower right front panel has a light crease mark on the surface.

To compensate for these cosmetic flaws, I have listed this much wanted LP at a low Buy It Now Price. You can purchase this vintage Folk Blues album immediately, without having to wait for several days, hoping a "Sniper" does not out-bid you at the last second.
