CONDITION:
VINYL:
This LP has been played but lightly and with great care. The grooves are clean, glossy and shiny. A few minor paper scuffs might be detected but nothing significant was seen, nor were any scratches seen visually. We did not listen to the entire album but we did sample portions of each cut. The LP plays remarkably well with detected skips and no more noise than is normal from items this old. Old Mono LP's were produced with more density so that helps in keeping the noise to a minimum as you listen. There is minimal spindle scarring which usually hints at how much play the record has seen. Overall, visually and aurally, this is a strong copy of a wonderful 60's Delta Blues classic. We are placing it inside a generic new sleeve.
COVER:
No stickers, holes or writing. Notable cover issues include fading and wear of the black color scheme most visible around the edges, corners as well as the spine. One of the corners (upper left) is worse than others. No significant seam splits other than a very small one associated with the corner just mentioned. The spine has dings but it is intact with a few dings making part of the text difficult to read. There is also a sticky spot on the upper front cover which might have been the result of a sticker although none was present when the seller acquired this and other similar LP's from their original owner. No attempt was made to improve that or any other condition issues. It actually present very well as the multiple photos will confirm. The rear cover looks great and the front cover is not perfect but it certainly looks and feels clean and strong, making for an overall strong visual impression. Lots of photos will confirm the condition.
INTERNATIONAL
A reminder we always comply with Ebay and Customs official policy and code the "value" slot of the Customs Form with the actual purchase price.
OUR PRACTICES AND POLICIES:
Most records are visually inspected and then washed and cleaned. Higher valued 45 records will include audio samples of the exact record being listed. Our photos are also original ones of the exact item. We describe condition and version to the best of our ability but the seller is not a records grading expert so please inquire in advance for additional details or concerns concerning quality or version of a particular record. We do not always listen or grade but we do offer as much visible information as possible. We always take multiple clear, close photos and invite questions about quality or version of an item in advance of bidding. Please await our invoice prior to payment. This is particularly important with international purchases as the value of the final price effects the method of shipment. See below.
Our refund policy is based on total buyer satisfaction so we only refund full payment upon return. We do not offer post purchase partial refunds. As our listings always include clear photos and audio, the responsibility for return postage is with the buyer.
SHIPPING:
USPS is our carrier. We ship Media Mail domestically in the US. We do combine shipping on US shipping but that is not always an option with International. We use 1st International but there are limits on weight so please await an invoice should you purchase more than one item.
