CABOOR & KAUFFMAN ~ SONGS FROM SUICIDE BRIDGE (US-Donley Soul-101) HERE's A RARE & INTERESTING PRIVATE PRESSING WITH A TIMELESS SOUND. Early 80's vinyl in a thick gatefold jacket. Very compelling sound with woven guitars and scattered electric fuzz guitar. WEST COAST duo with sounds of lost highways, loner, moody, despair, depression & hope. lyrical content from different tracks gives an idea: "Think I'll Write A Letter and send it away to some lonesome loser", "I don't know how much longer I can live the way i live and never die, how much longer I can kiss the day goodbye", "It's been twenty seven years, I was born in the springtime, now i'm dying in the sand", "Somebody save me, throw out a line, life without love is destroying my mind", "Oh you angel of mercy, won't you have me as a friend, i have nothing but the end inside of me", etc etc. There is use of phasing though pretty much just straight  guitars (acoustic/electric, slide, dulcimer, bass & vocals) : Kiss Another Day Goodbye", "Neighborhood Blues", "Life Without Love", "Angel Of Mercy", Life and Times On The Beech", "Backwoods", "Midnight Willie", Where's The Understanding?", Tinsel Town", "One More Day(You'll Fly Again)"...
