Description

RARE original pressing on SST -- SONIC YOUTH - Evol - 1986 SST Records USA - SST 059.  Sonic Youth's definitive 1986 album.  This is an original pressing, and very collectible.  Originals like this one have the "DARL" inscription etched in the dead wax on Side One ("DARL" stands for "Destroy All Record Labels").  Side Two etching reads, "Everything Black Turns Blue."  Vinyl is in Near Mint condition ...still has that new-look gloss ...not likely played much ...only one superficial mark that does not affect play -- sonics are excellent.  SST labels are clean.  Cover/jacket is VG+  ...moderate ring wear, light corner wear, a few small crease marks and several pock marks (on the front).  No seam splits and no writing.  Includes original insert (see photo) and original plastic inner sleeve.  Enclosed in a poly outer sleeve.  Low opening bid.  Stored in a non-smoking environment.  Please ask questions if you are unclear about this or any of my other auctions.  Serious bidders only, please.  Thank you.
