Superb fully authorised edition of a major milestone in Detroit punk/hard rock, originally issued as a promo-only 45 in 1978. Sonic's Rendezvous Band were a super-group in the best sense of the term, featuring Fred 'Sonic' Smith (ex-MC5), Gary Rasmussen (ex-The Up), Scott Morgan (ex-Rationals) and Scott Asheton (ex-Stooges). The original Orchidé release featured mono and stereo mixes of City Slang—this new edition has the Morgan-penned Electrophonic Tonic on the flip (originally intended as the flipside), recorded at the same session as City Slang.
Both sleeve and record are in top NM shape—the record has been played less than a handful of times and carefully stored since purchase.
