(BONO) This Lp was signed by
Bob Barry WOKY On September 4, 1964, the Beatles gave a concert in Milwaukee,
Stop Number 12 on their first American tour which visited 25 cities,
from San Francisco to New York.
  It was the only time the group appeared in Wisconsin.

 A legendary rock-n-roll disc jockey,
Barry enjoyed a near 30-year career on Milwaukee’s radio dial
at WOKY-AM, WEMP-AM, WISN-AM and WZTR-FM.
During the mid-1960’s when the Beatles dominated rock-n-roll
and he was the dominant rock-n-roll DJ in Milwaukee at WOKY,
he became known as “Beatle Bob” after he was featured prominently
with the Beatles during their only appearance in Milwaukee
and he introduced them to a star crazed crowd.

 Barry was in the right place at the right time when
The Beatles came to town near the end of summer in 1964.
He MCed the concert and visited the band twice at the Coach House lnn,
once to facilitate their news conference on Friday night prior to their show
and again on Saturday afternoon for a photo shoot before they left for Chicago.
