This is the original 1966 Chess Records issue of  Sonny Boy Willaimson II's contribution to their "Real Folk Blues" series which was designed to take advantage of the resurgence of interest in the blues driven by white, mainly British, musicians. This version is electronically enhanced for stereo.
I've owned it from new.  If memory serves I bought it  as an import off  Virgin Records' mail order advert in the New Musical Express.  Fill out the form, send it off with your cheque or PO and wait patiently for Mr Postman!  How times have changed!
The copy on offer remains in very good condition - see details below.

Track listings

  • Got To Move

Side Two
  • Bring It On Home

  • The vinyl is in excellent condition with just a couple of light surface marks.
  • The matt finished  sleeve is in excellent condition with a very small amount of edge and corner wear. It's white so marks do show!
  • The spine is clearly readable.
  • The labels are clean and  unmarked.
  • The original  Chess Checker inner is a bit battered and has 2" - 3" tears along all 3 edges.  I've only kept it because it's so distinctive.

All my records are posted in LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners.

I will of course accept returns and will pay for return postage in the event of any defects or any problems with quality.  Please email me if you have any concerns or questions.

Please email me for postage costs if bidding from outside the UK before making payment

A great record in super condition.
