Description
This album has had a lot written about it - who did what, when and where. It features Sonny Boy/vocals & harmonica, Eric Clapton/guitar, Chris Dreja/guitar, Jim McCarty/drums, Paul Samwell-Smith/bass & Keith Relf/hand clapping/shouting & foot tapping. Wikipedia says, "Although the recording date for Sonny Boy Williamson & the Yardbirds is usually given as December 8, 1963, there are conflicting accounts for two of the recordings. Yardbirds' biographer Gregg Russo indicates that the December 7, 1963, test recordings of "Take It Easy Baby" and "Do the Weston" were used for the album. He places both the December 7 and 8 dates at the Crawdaddy Club in Richmond." Who really cares. It rocks. The jacket is VG++ with some shrink missing on the back and some shrink tearing along the lower spine & some very slight yellowing where the shrink has pulled away from the opening slit (see pictures).
