Description

This is an extremely rare copy of the 1963 recording of Sonny Boy Williamson & The Yardbirds which was recorded live at The Craw-Daddy Club, Richmond and released on Fontana in 1965.

This is the 1st pressing with the catalogue number TL5277.

The vinyl has several marks on it and visually I would grade it as good, however like many of the vinyl releases from this era it plays much better than it looks. On test playing it plays without any problems although there is some surface noise on the quieter moments and  I would grade the sound quality as between good plus and very good minus.

The laminated front cover has some crazing and I would grade as good plus.

The rear cover is intact but has signs of ageing which can be seen on the photo, and at  I would grade as good.

The spine remains intact and legible.

In summary this is an exceptionally rare record which is not in pristine condition but plays pretty well and therefore is more than just a shelf filler.

The record will be sent in a new record mailer with cardboard stiffener and posted by Royal Mail Second Class. Please note that I will always post as soon as possible after payment is received. (If you pay by 8.00am I can guarantee to post the same day)

If you want to bid for further items and hopefully combine postage it is important that you let me know. I will combine postage wherever possible but payment must then be made not later than 7 days after the first auction has ended. Please wait for my invoice before paying.

If you are not bidding on other items payment must be made by no later than 48 hours after the auction has ended. If you fail to pay by 48 hours or contact me within this time I will open an unpaid item case.

Any questions please ask before bidding and remember that none of the records I list are mint or near mint unless stated. In grading my records I use the Record Collector grading classification.

This is a UK posting only listing.
