Sonny Boy Williamson "Talk That Talk" Japanese Chess LP PLP-6023. This is an incredible album of alternate takes during the years 1957 - 61. Includes some studio chatter with Leonard Chess, but not a lot of talking and only a few false starts. Quite a few takes are complete. Incredible playing by Jr. Lockwood & Luther Tucker on guitar as well as Fred Below drums, & Otis Spann or Lafayette Leake piano. This release is done up high quality Japanese style Mono with re-creation of the Silver & black Chess label from the 50's and complete with liner note session details, personnel, lyrics and studio dialogue in English.
Jacket and disc are M- . I bought this new and played it very little. Been kept in my collection for years with plastic outer sleeve to protect the jacket. Tom Principato
