Rollins was a member of  Brown-Roach Inc., and he brought those colleagues to Hackensack for this record date.  Sonny was beginning to get his propers, and he really digs in and produces some great jazz.  
This disc has the NYC address, the "fireworks" label, and is VG/VG+.  The cover is VG; the top edge is worn and the top corner has a small amount of wear (see photos).  This is a rare issue.

GRADING SCALE - RECORDS New Record sealed in shrink wrap / sold 'as is' NM Appears unplayed and has no visible  marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.   VG+ A few visible imperfections. These can include light scratches, or other superficial marks.  Records within this grade are considered good enough to keep by some collectors. VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above typically don't  have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  Covers may have contact wear or <2" seam split. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G Many imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.  This is referred to by some collectors as a "starter copy" which may be bartered for a better copy.     GRADING SCALE - COVERS New Sealed in shrink wrap VG May have scuffs on one or both sides; contact wear on one or more seams; no seam splits.  No stains but discoloration permitted.   G More scuffs than VG; seams have more wear which may render the spine printing unreadable.  Seam splits of around 2" are permitted on any seam.  Stains are permitted. G- Looks pretty beat up; seams are heavily worn and/or split.  Stains are on one or both sides.
