NOTE:  SOME FANTASTIC WORK BY "PHILLY "JOE" JONES" ON DRUMS & WYNTON KELLY - Piano

.......THIS IS AN ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE PRESSING:

 1. No "R" under the "E" in Blue Note on both labels

2. Very small "ear" on both sides

3. Has RVG in wax

4. Has 9 M in wax

5. Has 47 West 63rd NYC on both labels and back cover...............

 

 

•  LABEL =   BLUE NOTE 4001 MONO [DEEP GROOVE BOTH BLUE AND WHITE LABEL ORIGINAL PRESSING]

 Condition Record =   G+   has overall surface that will make some background noise.  A nice original play/starter copy.   

Condition Cover =    G+  LAMINATED COVER -  small inspection stamp on back. some seam splitting bottom side.  has age/ring wear and some damage on front cover.

1959 (rvg) STUDIO MATERIAL.   FEATURING:  Sonny Rollins, Wynton Kelly, Doug Watkins, Philly "Joe" Jones.

Tunes:   Tune up, Asiatic Raes, Wonderful! Wonderful!, The surrey with the fringe on top, Blues for Philly Joe, Namely You.
