Description
My grading system is NM / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F. I do NOT use EX as a grade.
SONNY ROLLINS QUARTET w/ Thelonious Monk 10" Prestige PRLP 190. Visually the lp has some wear. There are some light marks and a few small scratches, but none that can be felt. Grade would be VG. Audio wise, the lp plays better than it looks. Side one would grade somewhere between VG and VG+. Side 2 would grade VG. The background noise stays well in the background for the most part. The most background noise is during the bass solo at the beginning of side 2. Also, the only place where I heard a repetitive click was at the last 20 seconds of side 2. The fidelity of Rollins sax sounds excellent which indicates it was well recorded (Rudy Van Gelder). The jacket has some solid wear (please see scans), the front side being worse than the back side. There is a nice clean tape job along the top and the spine. This is an auction for US residents only. No international sales.
