Description
This is an exceptionally rare original copy of the excellent ROLLINS PLAYS FOR BIRD LP by SONNY ROLLINS QUINTET WITH KENNY DORHAM AND MAX ROACH on Prestige Records (Mono, PRLP 7095) from 1956. A fantastic jazz record from this legendary artist. The vinyl is in G condition with lots of marks and wear and some audible surface noise (crackle)l not for the most demanding audiophiles, but an enjoyble copy without skips or other anomalies that sounds better than it looks thanks to a quality 1950s pressing. The sturdy cardboard cover is in G condition with some obvious scuffs, dings, and seam splitting along all three edges that has been repaired with clear packing tape by the previous owner, as pictured.. Don't pass up a rare gem like this!
