I will be listing some very nice early jazz LP's. Please view my other auctions. Here is a very nice mono copy of Prestige 7079 with the deep groove yellow and black label and the Bergenfield N.J. address on the label released in 1957. I believe some of these first pressings had a New York address and some had the New Jersey address. Both are highly sought after copies. The initials RVG for Rudy Van Gelder are in the trail off. The cover is a super clean VG++, no seam splits, nice tight corners, perfect lamination, no ringwear or soiling. The vinyl is also a very clean and conservatively graded very strong VG+. There are just a few light scuffs that do not produce any ticks. It plays very nicely with superb fidelity and just the odd super light tic here and there. A very nice copy. A great listen. Overseas bidders are welcome. Overseas airmail is $12 for an LP, no insurance offered at this rate. I do not ship overseas surface mail and I do not accept paypal. Overseas bidders must pay through Bidpay or with an international money order. I can no longer accept cash payments by mail. I have had several cash payments stolen in the postal system in the past few months. I will combine winnings to save on shipping. US bidders pay exact priority mail + insurance if requested. Between $3.95 and $5.75 depending on where you live in the US. If you are the winning bidder a contact email or invoice will be sent to you within 24 hours.
