FORMAT: MONO YEAR: 1958 CONDITION (Please see grading table below for definitions): ***THIS LP IS PLAY-GRADED***- OUTER SLEEVE: VG- (....general ageing and shelf/edge-rubs; bottom seam full split; top seam at where it meets spine has paper rubbed away at seams wrapping around to spine in this corner; writing back cover....see photos)
- INNER SLEEVE: Original Blue Note LP advertisement sleeve....*please note this is the original sleeve but it has some tears*....I will ship with this sleeve but place the record in a new anti-static sleeve
- LP: VG+ (overall nice....has some light superficial surface marks in spots....plays nicely on my Denon with an odd pop)
- LABEL: VG/VG+ (light center-hole rubs; name/address sticker side 1....see photos)

FINE PRINT AND OTHER SPECIFICS (Please read) Packing of LP’s & 45’s All of my records are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP or 45 rpm mailers. Packing of 78’s 78’s are shipped in an oversized box with the actual record “sandwiched” between cardboard. The 78 “sandwich” is then placed in the oversized box on top of peanut foam filler material below, above and around the record to cushion it as well as possible. Grading (PLEASE READ SO THERE ARE NO SURPRISES) All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, I give an "overall presentation" grade, supplemented when necessary with additional remarks (which is more often than not). Please refer to my grading system below for a more detailed explanation as well as my general comments above in the grading description. GRADING DESCRIPTIONSRECORDS:
- Sealed: Store stock new
- Mint: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
- Near Mint/M-: Extremely nice. Would be Mint, except for a possibly a couple of light hairlines or scuffs
- VG++: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like
- VG+: A nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops
- VG: A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, and even a possible skip.
- VG-: A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has skipping and snap, crackle, pop
- Good: Probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, skips etc.
- Fair: You’re getting this record just to own.
- Poor: The sky’s the limit as far as condition in the negative sense
- I will give greater weight to the condition of the front cover than back cover when assigning an overall grade
- Stickers – I will state if there are any
- If I write that a cover has a punch-hole, I’m talking about a small punch-press type hole
- A factory saw mark is a narrow cut in the perimeter of the cover, could be anywhere and vary in length from 1/2” to 2” at the most.
