Description
EXCELLENT VINYL on this 1973 copy of Sonny Rollins "Freedom Suite Plus". "Freedom Suite" was a live recording from WOR Radio studio, and the "Plus" in the title is the 2nd disc, live tracks from 1957, and these were all remastered for this 1973 Milestone Records / Fantasy Records, and what beautiful shiny and clean records these are! NO scratches, NO skips, this borders on NM. This includes the tracks "The Freedom Suite", "Someday I'll Find You", "Will You Still Be Mine", "Till There Was You (takes 3 and 4)", "Shadow Waltz", "Just In Time", "Mangoes", "Cutie", "It Could Happen To You", "Dearly Beloved", "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye", "Toot, Toot, Tootsie", What Is There To Say?", "The Last Time I Saw Paris", and "Funky Hotel Blues". Highly praised album full of Sonny's exploring Sax, this is a 1st US Press from '73. While the vinyl is just wonderful, the gatefold is an average VG from its nearly 50 years of existence, but it has NO writting on it, the inside of this gatefold has long liner notes breaking down the songs, the times, and the players. The front and back have some ring wear, and one of the LP openings has just the tiniest amount / beginning of a split, it has a legible spine, though all edges have some wear. A VG cover with EX vinyl on BOTH discs, this will sound great on your stereo, turned up and tuned in. We sell a lot of Sonny Rollins lately and they go fast, so I don't expect this'll be any different. Get this great Jazz album by one of its pioneers before it's gone. Please see all photos before buying, and take a second to check out our store full of other musical treasures. There's ALWAYS FREE US SHIPPING on media from our store! Thanks for looking :)
We aim to exceed your expectations! Thanks for looking in our store. If you haven't shopped with us before, check out our feedback to see you can buy here with confidence. It is always important to READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION & VIEW ALL PHOTOS. Sorry to our regulars, I have had some physical issues that have impeded me from posting much lately, I'll try harder lol. Like you, I buy vinyl on eBay for my own collection, and am so often disappointed from inaccurate descriptions & fuzzy pictures. We aren't one of those sellers! We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). I post here as often as I can, please message if you're looking for something in particular. WE MAIL UNTO OTHERS AS WE WOULD HAVE THEM MAIL TO US! This will be by Media Mail, which is a bit slower but allows us to ship all US vinyl purchases FREE! We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours. To all our regulars, its good to be back and we look forward to hearing from you. If you ever see wrong information in our listings, let us know, we love the trivia and always strive to be accurate. Lastly, yes, we are a few dollars more on average, but, we use new official LP mailers, cardboard inserts, plastic sleeves, and it will arrive safely. In other words, we are very dependable and have been doing this for close to a decade. Thanks for looking, and good luck on your search for amazing music. Greg and Michelle Mitchell
