Description
Absolutely wonderful vinyl on this classic jazz album by one of the best musicians of all time, Sonny Rollins "The Bridge", He had retired for three years in 1959 to explore his craft, playing on a bridge for 3 years, before putting out one of Jazz's greatest albums of all time. This is a copy from Germany, on RCA / Gemma records, and is from 1962. Often, European record sleeves are very thin card stock, as is the case here, very flimsy. As you can see in the photos, it has some ring and shelf wear, and a bit of open spots one the edges here and there, but the opening itself is not split, the spine only partially legible, mostly because the cover is so thin. There is also a piece of clear tape front top right, and a few wrinkles here and there. But the front, and especially the back, are clean, great front photo, and the back is still very shiny. The vinyl would be Near Mint if not for a couple of VERY light marks, and is clean and shiny, very wonderful vinyl on this. RARE COPY!
