Description

Up for auction is a beautiful copy of the Sonny Rollins album "Way Out West" recorded on Contemporary Records (C3530) and released in 1957.  This is a guaranteed original, deep groove mono first pressing.  First pressing cover with red box around song titles.  Absolutely superb condition.  Looks factory fresh like the first day it came off the presses.
The cover looks in pristine condition with no flaws to speak of.  Beautiful gloss, front and back.  No ring wear, pristine lamination.  Sharp corners, no bumping or rubbing.  Seams are beautiful, no splits or cracking.  This cover looks like it was just taken out of the original shrink wrap.  Hard to imagine a nicer example.  I'd grade this cover Near Mint Plus (NM+).  Yes, it's that nice.
The vinyl is equally beautiful.  Nice high gloss original shine, no scratches or scuffs.  Nice bright, clean labels.  This copy looks virtually "as new" with virtually no signs of previous handling or play.  No marks around spindle holes.  I have play tested it, and it sounds beautiful with no distractions or extraneous sounds of previous wear.  I would grade the vinyl Near Mint.
You will not find a cleaner or nicer copy of this record.  It looks pristine, stunning.  Will satisfy the pickiest and most discerning of collectors.  Impossible to upgrade.  An archive copy.  Copies that are not nearly as nice have sold for more than I'm asking for this copy.  100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.
