SONNY STITT WITH JACK McDUFF – STITT MEETS BROTHER JACK – Prestige PR-7244 (High Fidelity). Disc is Near Mint; Labels are Near Mint; Sleeve is VG (spine, surface, edge and corner wear); VAN GELDER stamp in Matrix runoff.
A Rudy Van Gelder recording (“Van Gelder” stamped in runoff), recorded Feb. 16, 1962, this album features Stitt on tenor, McDuff on organ, Eddie Diehl on guitar; Art Taylor on drums and Ray Barretto on congas. Titles are: All of Me; Pam Ain’t Blue; Time After Time; Ringin’ In; ‘Nother Fu’ther; When Sonny Gets Blue; and Thirty-Three, Ninety-Six.
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer. Discs are packaged separately from LP sleeve to protect against seam splitting. LP jackets are inserted into poly outer sleeves and albums are shipped in LP-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap.
