Description
This album is by jazz saxophonist Sonny Stitt. Entitled "Stitt's Bits",it was released in 1956 on Prestige 7133. He is joined by Kenny Drew,Junior Mance,Art Blakey,Tommy Potter and Wesley Landers. All cuts but one were released in the early fifties on 78rpm format. Vinyl is on the original 50th street adress with RVG and the ear stamped in the dead wax and is a deep groove on the yellow and black label. Side A grades at a solid vg+++ and the B side has equally excellent gloss except there are three noticable superficial long scuffs that don't affect the play which is excellent and has nice fidelity. Cover is a strong vg+ to vg++ marred only by light soiling on the back and one lightly frayed edge. Money back guarantee if not completely satisfied. Buyer pays for shipping and handling.
