For auction is SONNY STITT "Sits In With Oscar Peterson Trio" MG V 8344, MONO, DG, 1959.
SOUND: VG++ or better.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. A1, "I Can't Give You Anything But Love'" has a tiny tic in the intro... that is the only flaw I heard on the entire record. Overall, a great, bright, clean sound!
VINYL: VG+
Visually, the vinyl is very nice. There are a few hairline marks and scuffs, but they are superficial and don't affect playback at all. Vinyl looks very clean and glossy. The labels are deep-grooved black/silver Verve "trumpeter" in good shape.
COVER: VG+
The cover is very nice. the upper right corner is split the last 2 inches to the slit. Otherwise, all edges and spine are solid, with average wear. The corners are nice, with minimal wear, except for that upper right one, which is a little bit more frayed. Both front and back are very clean, with minimal, routine aging/wear/ There is a short red-ink mark on the back.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
