Here is a 78 RPM Record album by the SONS OF THE PIONEERS “Cowboy Classics”. This four-record set includes their big hits “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” “Cool Water” and six other tunes.

The album is autographed by Hugh Farr, the original fiddle player for the group.

The records are all in top condition with bright shellac and no scratches, scuffs or graying. I have listened to several and they played perfectly without skipping or sticking.

The labels are clean and shiny without stickers or wear.

The album is in very good condition with no splits or missing paper. The spine is solid. There is a small amount of wear associated with items of this age on the corners and edges but it is in great shape for being 70+ years old.

The autograph by Hugh Farr was written on Christmas Day of 1947. It looks like blue pencil or a ball point pen. It is perfectly clear and not at all faded.

[V+] Minor groove wear with several light scratches and some minor surface noise.
[V] Groove wear, scratches and some graying present. Surface noise but not intrusive.
{V-] Quite playable, may have distortion in some passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
[G+] Grey but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
[G] Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
