- The rare NEW ORLEANS FUNK 45 by LARRY DARNELL with the tracks SON OF A SON OF A SLAVE + STOMP DOWN SOUL!!
- 1968 release on INSTANT RECORDS (3296; USA).
- Contains the bitchin intro BREAK on each side!
- What makes this copy even more special for vinyl FUNK collectors into acetate/s, test pressing/s, promo/s, misprinting/s, and the like; is that the side 2 label for this copy is MISPRESSED and is a repeat of the side 1 label (see attached photos!) -- the actual tracks are correct and have following matrix numbers etched into the run-out area: II-2627-x (side 1) and II-2628-x (side 2)!!
- Shiny vinyl is visually a nice EXCELLENT (includes a scattering of some short light hairlines and some faint sleeve wear -- professionally cleaned by VPI cleaner -- strong copy!); labels are VG.
- Listen to EXTENDED clip comparing the different vocal tracks of this rare FUNK artefact!
