This is a United States pressing double album that also includes a 45. The cover describes the 45 as A Never Before Heard 25 Minute Rap Session by SAM COOKE titled “What Is Soul”. One side of the 45 is titled THE INTERVIEW, and the other side is SAM IN THE STUDIO. The cover is a gatefold with notes by Disc Jockey Magnificent Montague inside. The back cover has more notes by Magnificent Montague plus lengthy notes about Sam Cooke by the Cherie Record Company and information about the material contained in this recording.
COVER: The cover is in overall exceptionally nice condition. The only things keeping the cover from grading EX are thin 3 inch top center seam splits and a 2 inch bottom center seam split. There is light staining on the top of the back cover and on the top of the gatefold. The front cover also has a price tag of 6.95.
VINYL: Both LPs were cleaned on a VPI Machine and grade VG+. The 45 is in NM condition.
