On STUDIO 1 RECORDS.(“MADE IN JAMAICA”)
I bought this record new in the1970s In Readings records of Clapham Junction, “IMPORT SPECAILIST”.
The record surface looks like new, with a high shine, but as with all Jamaican pressings the vinyl is quite delicate and a little flawed, but the sound was really good on my iPro deck, but this may not be the case on a better deck. The labels are as they always have been, a little flawed(on side 2 very flawed) but that’s what makes Studio 1,Stuidio 1.
I play all my records before I put them on, but I have to say, this just brought back wonderful memories of my teenage years in south London when I was privileged to hang out with a bunch of guys whose parents had come over on the Windrush, I must have looked odd as the only white guy, but they taught me more about life then anyone. We lost touch when I moved to Kingston (Surrey sadly not Jamaica!) it was a sad loss.

IT TAKES ME ½ AN HOUR TO PACK A RECORD TO MY HIGH STANDARD, I ALWAYS POST WITHIN 24 HOURS USING 1ST CLASS, I BELIEVE MY P/P COST ARE FAIR.
I HAVE A HUGE RECORD COLLECTION AND I AM NOW SLOWLY SELLING THEM ON (I am burning to CD so I still have the sounds) AS MY GRAND KIDS HAVE NO INTEREST- IPODS?? PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE OTHERS ON NOW, MANY MORE TO COME.
