ABOUT THIS LP
Originally released in 1994, this album is considered a favorite for many Soundgarden fans. It was the first CD I ever owned. And then came the vinyl in my collection.
Compared to the CD release, there is more dynamic range, especially in the cymbals and percussion. You can really hear Matt Cameron fit in a phenomenal drumming session from "Let Me Drown" all the way until the last track. This in itself makes the vinyl worth owning, really.
This specific LP comes in the transparent blue-colored vinyl. The blue color was specific to the original pressing, and in no other issue can it be found. You can't help but appreciate the LP color when a song like "Let Me Drown" comes through the speakers.
This item comes in a gatefold sleeve. Contains 2 lyric insert sheets.

CONDITION
COVER
~The cover retains high gloss and a collectable-worthy sheen.
~The gatefold cover lies FLAT with no warping.
~The cover displays only very minor handling marks
There are no heavy stains, no ink markings/smudges, no mold or residual imperfections capable of producing a foul odor.
Most importantly, there are NO splits from the heavy vinyl poking through the seam to say “HELLO.” I assign an EXCELLENT grade to the cover!
RECORD
The vinyl still looks great from its initial release in 1994. All sides are glossy and vibrant blue. On side 2 of the first disc, there appears to be a small factory blemish the size of a easer tip on the song "Black Hole Sun." THE BLEMISH DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY IN ANY WAY.
I have only played this album once since owning it, and one last time before listing it up for sale. Audibly it is EXCELLENT.
This record would be a beautiful collectable copy for the Soundgarden purist building a collection of original issues from the time when grunge was king!

INNERS
The two printed inners containing the lyrics are EXCELLENT. They are very clean and do not contain heavy creasing, rips, tears, etc.

All records come to you in a 3-mil polyethylene outer sleeve with the record shipped outside of the cover to prevent seam splits. The record itself is placed in a fresh ploy-lined anti-static paper sleeve prior to shipment. If you have any other shipment instructions, I am happy to tailor the package to your wishes.
THINK GREEN! All records bringing under $40 at auction will be lovingly packed in a GENTLY used record mailer with fresh cardboard stiffeners. I assure you, the once-used mailers still have the spines and edges straight, strong, and true. Plenty of life left in these great mailers.
