NEXT, SOME AFRICAN AND REGGAE LPs AND 12" SINGLES - This is a 1970s ERA PRESSING OF THE STUDIO ONE RECORDS JAMAICA LP IN ITS ORIGINAL COVER titled 'Sounds Of Young Jamaica' containing twelve tracks from some of Coxson Dodd's greatest pioneering 1960s reggae, ska, and rocksteady artists. Studio One Records catalog number is GW-0004, Studio One labels are yellow with the red numeral '1' in the middle of the labels.

Condition of record is VG with a few visible surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play, and one small surface scuff which can barely be felt and which will cause a few very slight ticks in one song, necessitating the VG grading. Condition of cover is also VG with 7" splits in both the top and bottom edges (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside), and with some wear along the edges and on the corners, including a couple of spots on the left hand corners where the top layer of paper is worn away. Cover has no water damage, tears, writing, or stickers. This original Jamaican press LP would be a choice addition to any reggae record collection!
