“Southern Comfort” is a result of a spur of the moment idea in the minds of blues fanatics Peter Shertser and Ian Sippen, who seized the opportunity to record Chicago blues greats Walter “Shakey” Horton, Jerome Arnold and Jesse C. Lewis together with Martin Stone, a British blues guitarist and former member of Savoy Brown.

Sire/London Stereo SES 97011 With white, purple and aqua label on record.
Sticker on album cover indicates that this was a Demonstration Record.
Vinyl has excellent gloss and no scratches. VINYL IS GRADED E- (NEAR EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT MINUS (E-) = Surface shows slight minor faults. May have slight noise). Original inner paper sleeve. Album cover is quite worn and scuffed, with corner, edge and ring wear and general overall wear. No splits.

BASIC VINYL GRADING GUIDELINES:
MINT (M) = Looks new. Shows no sign of use.
NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT PLUS (E+) = Shows that it has been played, otherwise near perfect.
EXCELLENT (E) = Shows slight wear with original shine. Minimum noise. No surface faults of any consequence.
NEAR EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT MINUS (E-) = Surface shows slight minor faults. May have slight noise.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) = Shows wear with light grayness in some of the grooves. May have some light scratches or rubs. Noise becoming a factor, but does not overwhelm the music.
VERY GOOD (VG) = The average playable record with grayness in the grooves, light scratches or rubs, noise is stronger but acceptable. Collectible.
VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-) = Major faults such as multiple scratches , rubs, digs and serious needle runs. Graying all over. Noise still tolerable. Has been played often. Still acceptable.
GOOD (G) = Not really good. Almost a filler. Major multiple faults. Noise exceeds music. Used only for a rare or scarce record.
Poor (P) = Filler only. Sold "as is" with no refund. Only the rarest records would be sold in this condition.
An additional Plus (+) and Minus (-) is used for more detailed accuracy.
