ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Fantastic original vinyl box set. 7 individual, jacketed albums in a cardboard box with individual catalog numbers and info insert for each. The albums are: SOUNDS OF THE SOUTH (ATLANTIC 1346) / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN MUSIC (ATLANTIC 1347) / ROOTS OF THE BLUES (ATLANTIC 1348) / WHITE SPIRITUALS (ATLANTIC 1349) / AMERICAN FOLK SONGS FOR CHILDREN (ATLANTIC 1350) / NEGRO CHURCH MUSIC (ATLANTIC 1351) / THE BLUES ROLL ON (ATLANTIC 1352). Original ATLANTIC RECORDS company sleeve in each album except for SOUNDS OF THE SOUTH.

ITEM CONDITION:
Vinyl discs are VG+++ with very minor surface blemishes, except SOUNDS OF THE SOUTH (slightly more wear) and BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN MUSIC (very light scratches and some handling). LP jackets are VG++ with minor surface wear, but no seam splits. Very minor edge dings on title spines. The name "Philip H. Green" written on the back of each jacket (botton center) in blue ballpoint pen. Notes written in blue ballpoint next to track listings on SOUNDS OF THE SOUTH, BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN MUSIC, and ROOTS OF THE BLUES. Cardboard box is in good shape but does have plenty of surface and edge wear as well as splits in the seams. "Property of Phil Green" written in blue ball point on lower front and back. Box has not been "repaired" with tape. Info insert in great shape with some handling. Pin hole in insert for AMERICAN FOLK SONGS FOR CHILDREN.
