Artist: THE SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY JAZZ ENSEMBLE conducted by ALVIN BATISTE
Title: “Live at the 1971 College Jazz Festival”
Year: 1971.
Label: JAZZSTRONAUTS. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is white with dark blue text. Catalog number is LP-1.
Condition:
DISC: Condition is mixed. Record has 100% of original gloss and has been played a small number of times, but due to one single heavy scuff I am giving it an overall grade of FILLER.
Side One grades a G to G- because of a single deep scuff across 75% of the side, beginning as light ticks which become steadily more pronounced, until eventually the track becomes unlistenable.
Side Two is fine, grades a solid EXCELLENT, with no marks or issues. Fidelity is excellent.
JACKET: Jacket is NEAR MINT in original factory shrink wrap. Shrink wrap is torn, approximately halfway across the top. Clean front and back panels. Excellent seams and spine. No writing, stickers, or other problems. A beautiful jacket for someone looking to upgrade.
