SP 8534 Sample pressing Michael Rabin Paganini Violin Concerto No.1 Goossens

SOUND SAMPLE AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, TURN UP THE VOLUME and have a READ .

READ MY DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY, and listen at least to the first 3 and a half minutes of the sample (side 2 where the soft tic is) the tick is quite soft and repetetive. The soloist starts JUST before the ticking stops

Side 1 starts at 4 minutes and is all the rest of the 6 minute sound sample. I would rate side 1 seperately as NM

PLEASE read full description, lots of detail given.    SAMPLE COPY STICKER ON SIDE 1 label (see photo 2)

Post quoted at 500gm

Important note for USA Domiciled buyers, ebay says post is limited to $4 , however because, it is coming from the 'Land Downunder' (No Vegemite stains on cover) OZ post airmail is comparatively expensive, that charge to the REAL post cost which is the second option on the invoice to the postage tab quote..........you know what I am saying  !!!!!.

VG+   LP JUST ONE SMALL shallow scratch mark at start of side 2  it starts to be softly audible in the first minute , then goes through to about 30 seconds after the violin soloist starts at about 2.5minutes (SEE photo 6 and listen to START of sound sample for about 3 minutes ) that keeps this from a NM rating, All of this record except that section play NM with normal  occasional surface noise.  I would think Rarely played, very little sign of spindle wear or rotational spindle mark, a little bit of dust, but not even many sunlight visible paper spiderline scuffs  (see Photo's) PITY ABOUT THAT ONE FINE SCRATCH, CREATES ALL UP ABOUT 3 minutes of TICS VARYING FROM SOFT TO MEDIUM TICS, BUT NO TRACK SKIPS )

This pressing made by EMI Australia, it is PRESSED IN THE EARLY 1960'S and the vinyl is about 150gms and has the sample sticker on side 1

WAX CODE SIDE 1   SP1 . 8534 . D22

                    SIDE 2   SP2 . 8534 . D24

NM minus  UK PRINTED FLIPBACK cover

It looks to have had a couple of small knocks on the bottom shelf edge, but all flipback seams are good no rips or tears, also the rear plain card is in clean condition with hardly any yellowing, a nice uk jacket if anyone needs a good jacket for their own genuine uk issue,

BE aware the sound sample (When and IF it arrives)  IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.

DUST JACKET

WAS JUST A PLAIN CLEAR PLASTIC OZ ISSUE NOW REPLACED WITH AN ARCHIVE QUALITY MFSL ISSUE.

ITEMS are located in AUSTRALIA, see further down for Australia Post Rates to your destination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Australian buyers can pay in AUD,

USA Buyers BE AWARE !! Post limit of 4USD as stipulated by ebay, (even for overseas sellers) GOOD NEWS!! unlike other sellers I will only charge the 4USD to Post it to you BUT BAD NEWS..... It will arrive via the same method as if it was posted in USA, by SURFACE MAIL, and as that involves a slow ship via China and other indirect world zones it may take upto 3 MONTHS  to get to you. There is an option on your USA invoice for Economy mail, which will be by Air Mail and therefore the regular 10-15 days, SO UNLESS you want to get it VERY SLOWLY.... I would strongly recommend paying the optional invoice amount of USD21 (yes oz post is amongst the most expensive in the world, but they run at a profit (unfortunately for me) as opposed to subsidised operations in other countries

IN CASE AN OVERSEAS BUYER PAYS THE INVOICE BEFORE I GET TO ADJUST IT IN LINE WITH THE CHART BELOW, A REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS OR A REFUND IF OVERPAID WILL SOON FOLLOW!!!!!

 Track list and performers

Paganini Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major and Wieniawski Violin Concerto No 2 in D Minor

NO..... I will not reduce the stated value of the LP on any customs declarations, Australia post bases its insurance on the declared value, so if I understate it I am at risk of losing its value should it go missing, You as a buyer are covered by paypal protection, so bid accordingly.

NO .... Paypal does not cover me if its not insured, I know I have looked into the situation EXTENSIVELY!!

I would appreciate email contact first to establish your credentials.  Credentials mean that I need to know you will be paying with VERIFIED PAYPAL account, and I of course will only be mailing to that verified address. DON'T EXPECT TO GET MY PERMISSION IN THE LAST 2 HOURS OF BIDDING, DO IT BEFOREHAND. (Buyers who have had trouble free transactions with me already qualify of course, regardless of the feedback status)

IF insurance is required on any Missionselit purchases please be aware I CAN ONLY INSURE BASED ON THE CUSTOMS DECLARATION STATED VALUE, PLEASE BE AWARE SHOULD YOU BE LIABLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS ON A SECOND HAND LP IN YOUR COUNTRY, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT PAYMENT (UK, Sth Korea, Germanyand possibly Malaysia has this problem I believe). The need for me to cover  insurance for any loss in the postal service means  I will  not under any circumstances  understate the customs declaration value, for the above reasons.
