Description
Pathé marconi c006 90643, Man On the Moon b/w Growing Up by Ornette Coleman. Ornette recorded these tracks in July of 1969 at his final session for Impulse, and they were only released on a single. The Impulse 45 turns up every once in a while, but this French version with picture sleeve is exceptionally rare (I’ve seen a grand total of 2.)
Line up: Ornette-as, Dewey Redman-ts, Don Cherry-cornet, Charlie Haden-b, Ed Blackwell-d and Emanuel Ghent on synthesizers.
Sleeve is Vg/Vg+ with some ring wear and a moisture stain and name on the back. Record is Vg+ with marks that cannot be heard over the music with the exception of one click in the middle of Growing Up. Sound samples available upon request.
US Orders, add $5.00 for secure packing and shipping. Insurance, if desired is extra. International shipping will be determined at auction's end. Personal checks are just fine, and if your feedback rating is over 20 (no negatives), there is no delay in shipping. Happy bidding.
