Description
SPACE - " SPACE " (Space LP1), KLF Communications, 1990, Stereo.
This is the very rare, first and only pressing of the 1990 ambient/electronica LP issued on the The KLF's label (not sure if this album was them under a different guise or just some other like-minded individuals).
I have carefully cleaned this LP on my Moth professional record cleaning machine.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT- (No serious audible scratches, no groove damage, no excessive surface noise, etc. This record plays very strongly and cleanly, almost without interuptions, clicks or pops. There is a minute amount of surface noise during the silent run-in which becomes inaudible once the music starts. Under my bright grading lamp a few very faint hairline surface marks are revealed but they generally don't sound - on the odd occasion during a quiet part of the music there is a faint noise, but you really have to listen out for them, they do not ruin the listen and providing you are expecting an LP (not a CD), you shouldn't be disapointed. NOTE: I have thoroughly tested this record on both my turntables - a Technics SL-1200 and my Linn LP12 Sondek)
SLEEVE = EXCELLENT- (Generally great, - nice and flat without any rips, big creases, tears or defacing, etc. Would have been a higher grading but for the slight waer and tear and a couple of tiny creases along the spine/edges - see photo)
NOTE: it is probably worth pointing out that we are a long standing physical secondhand record shop, with literally decades of record trading/grading experience between us. Please read my description carefully, and if you like what you read, bid with confidence - don't be put off my my honest and accurate gradings... in many cases, items I have marked down are still in much better shape than those so-called "excellent" and "mint" items listed by the new breed of overnight internet traders and self-proclaimed experts that currently plague ebay.
