SPACE STORIES and SOUNDS (Classics Illustrated) RARE Spoken word

This LP album is very rare! The LP was produced in 1959 by LION records together with Classics Illustrated. The LP was a compilation 
of four stories: 1)First Men in the Moon, 2) Journey to the Center of the Earth, 3) The War of the Worlds, and 4) The Time Machine.
I will quote from Dan Milan's "Complete Guide to Classics Collectibles" Volume 1, page 95:                " In 1958, the next wave of CI A/V items began, the LP era. From 1958-1960, they came out with a new LP every            Christmas.The first LP was the JUNIOR LP, with Robert Q. Lewis narrating 12 JRs: 502,504,505,507,509,512,           513,514,520,524,531,535. Then in 1959 came "Space Stories and Sounds," with Bill Stern narrating CI#s 124,           133,138, and 144. I do not know what Journey to the Center of the Earth has to do with space, so we just call           it the Sci-Fi LP."

Description: The jacket exhibits surface and seam wear. The surface of the front cover of the jacket has two upper right corner bends.
There are some fingernail-type light scratches as well.There are no paper tears. The seams have split but they have been neatly taped
with archival tape and do not really detract from the look of the jacket. The back side surface has some stains as shown in the picture
provided. The overall grade for the jacket is a VERY GOOD. The vinyl record exhibits light in-and-out scratches, but nothing deep or
hardly distracting. I played the front and back sides.Again, there are 3 very light tics and then about five more light tics on side one.
Side two has a few more light tics, but they are not major distractions. I would grade the vinyl record at a VERY GOOD as well.
