Description
THE SPANIELS on VEE-JAY lable #107 with songs of "GOODNIGHT SWEETHEART GOODNIGHT" (reached #5 on the Billboard charts in 1954) / "YOU DON'T MOVE ME". This is very lightly used with just few very minor scuffs. This is a reproduction 78rpm record that is a re-issue on vinyl made in the 1980’s for jukebox owners. This is similar to the Rhino and Jukebox Classics sets and can be played on jukeboxes with updated light weight tone arms. Payment is by Paypal service only and payment is due within 24 hours of auction closing. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please ask before bidding. I have experience shipping 78rpm records and have never had a problem; so they will be packed well for safe delivery. I have other 78rpm repro records listed this week.
This has been play graded on a modified Technics turntable for 78rpm speed using a Shure M44C magnetic cartridge with a Shure 3mil diamond needle with less than 5 hours play on it at a weight of 3.7 grams - both sides were played all the way through with no skips, pops, or ticks and has excellent fidelity with no hiss. Note: the record label has the group listed as the 'Spanials' with an 'a'; this is a label error; the group is actually spelled the 'Spaniels' (be assured this is the real group called the Spaniels on this record). You will also see some slight bubbling of the label on the '"Goodnight' side (see photo); this is a slight manufacturing defect that does not affect the play quality of the record at all.
