Description
For sale is a 5 LP box set by Sparks, titled "The Island Years". This collector's edition includes four sealed MINT LPs and 1 opened NM LP (Indiscreet) with each record featuring 33 RPM and a 12" size. Also includes original front sticker, download card (no longer valid), AND full-sized print/poster of the Big Beat cover signed by both brothers included only in the first 100 sets issued. The box set is made of cardboard and the vinyl is black. The inlay and sleeve of the LPs are in near mint condition. The heavyweight vinyl box set includes Kimono My House, Propaganda, Indiscreet (Gatefold Sleeve) and Big Beat and a fifth LP, The Rest Of Sparks, that rounds up all of the band’s Island B-sides from the period, most of which have never previously been available on vinyl album, while the tracks ‘Looks Aren’t Everything’ and ‘Intrusion/Confusion’ are making their debut on vinyl. This would be MINT except for the one LP that was opened and played once. The release year of this box set is 2015 and it was released by Island Records.
