Sparto es un grupo de Heavy Metal de Pamplona, España, fundado en 1983.
Al principio contaba con la formación del conocido Tito Trujillo (Guitarra y Voz) que ha formado parte de Nahi ta nahiez o Billy Goat, Koldo Pino (guitarra), Txutxo Villarroya (bajo), Txus Casanova (batería). La formación se vio modificada levemente cuando Ion Pino entró en la fomación para sustituir como cantante a Tito Trujillo, aunque éste continuó ejerciendo como guitarrista. Fue entonces cuando Sparto se proclamó vencedor del concurso de POP-ROCK Navarro en su primera edición de 1987, desde entonces fueron un grupo que dio mucho que hablar.

Grabaron su primer trabajo titulado «Todos juntos» y publicado por Damitor en 1988, además de un mini-lp que se llamó «Víctimas, héroes» publicado por Arión también ese mismo año. Los conciertos sucedían por montones y las críticas eran favorables al grupo incluso desde otros países no hispanohablantes. Aunque su próspera carrera musical se vio mermada con la marcha del cantante Ion Pino en 1989 que pasó a ser sustituido por Christian. Con esta formación se grabó «Entre dos fuegos» publicado en 1992 por Urantia. Posteriormente se disolvieron.
Sparto tuvo repercusión a nivel nacional gracias a varios artículos publicado en distintas revistas especializadas como “Heavy-Rock” o “Metal Hammer”, y dieron conciertos con conocidas Bandas del panorama heavy internacional.
Actualmente se han vuelto a unir Koldo Pino (guitarra), Tito Trujillo (Guitarra), Txutxo Villarroya (bajo), Txus Casanova (batería) con Jorge Arca a la voz (Ex-Bajista de Dragon Lord) para dar una serie de conciertos con motivo de realizar un tributo a grandes bandas del Heavy Metal Internacional, como Judas Priest.

Currently you have rejoined Koldo Pino (guitar), Titus Trujillo (guitar), Txutxo Villaroya (bass), Txus Casanova (drums) with the voice Jorge Ark (Ex-Bassist Dragon Lord) to give a series of concerts with reason to make a tribute to great International Heavy Metal bands like Judas Priest.
