Label: Tempo - Immaculate Labels - there must have been a label on the word Tempo on side 2, this has been removed and have left a little residue.

Vinyl: The Record is in Excellent condition throughout. It has been professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine supplied by www.stamfordaudio.co.uk and looks great. There is a little background hiss on most of the tracks but this does not detract from the listening quality of the music on this rare album. No scratches, a couple of light non play impacting hairline marks - no fingerprints. There is some paper scuffing associated with taking the album in and out of the inner sleeve. Deserving a classification of Excellent considering that this is 50 years old.

Sleeve: West Brothers laminated flipback sleeve. The front has a "bend" crease top right hand corner but otherwise is nice and clean with unwashed colouring. The spine is clearly readable, the rear sleeve has light fading but is all intact. A very small scribble in pen top left hand corner. No other pen marks. Extensive sleeve notes by Tony Hall.

Description: Classic early attempt at "mood" music ( In the modern manner) released on Tempo. The lady on the front sleeve is Jackie Collins (age 20) so a nice period piece. The band were as follows:

Record Grading:

All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector. Records are examined under a strong halogen light and graded accordingly. In addition, all NON MINT records are played on a LINN Axis turntable with an Akito arm with a Roksan cartridge. I tend not to get carried away with the classification or use words like “impossibly rare” “vault copy” or any other such nonsense.  My reviews are precise and to the point.  It is assumed that you know something of the artist so I rarely provide a description of who they are/were etc. The High Numbers become The Who, `N Betweens become Slade – you will not find a long description on the history in these reviews.

Record Cleaning:

All NON MINT albums are professionally cleaned prior to classification on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine before dispatch.  Machine available from www.stamfordaudio.co.uk

Packaging: (all vinyl 7” + 12”)

Packaging is of the highest quality.  I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2 cardboard stiffeners. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.

Postage Costs:

Postage is normally done the next working day after payment. Proof of postage is retained with all items. Recorded delivery on request.
