The songwriting has improved, now they sound like a heavy psych version of The Mick Taylor-era Rolling Stones, and the Joey Smith vocals improved a lot, now he sounds like a very good Dickie Peterson/Alvin Lee/Mick Jagger styled vocalist, also Shinki Chen improved a lot, while in his past albums sounded like a fairly average guitarist, now he sounds like an accomplished and even quite talented guitar player that could deliver tasty heavy psych toned riffs and solo The production is far more polished and dry. They also included here some nice organ.

Musically, this is a mix between heavy psych, Rolling Stones styled blues rock and rhythm & blues, Black Sabbath styled slow "downer rock" and some instrumental and mock krautrock/prog rock/space rock instrumentals
