Description

Old eBay prices: $72 + $60 + $56. Superclean original first pressing of extremely good and extremely catchy US powerpop 7” from New York City. ‘Let Me Take Your Foto’ will bring a smile to your face. Especially the charming voice, the endless hand-claps and the superb melodies makes this track a real winner. Released on private mini label ‘Golden Disc’ records in 1979 (catalogue number GDR 1003). It’s the same label where ‘Plan 9’ label band the VICTIMS kicked out one of their superb punk singles. The great song on the flip ‘No Substitute’ is a fine melody-maker as well. This is the first of two 7” records by the SPEEDIES. Classic powerpop single in tip-top condition.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
