On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Spencer Davis Group called 'Second Album' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1965 MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS EVER MADE - WITH A DIFFERENT & 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' COVER DESIGN!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED FONTANA INSERTED ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER 'AN ISLAND RECORD PRODUCTION' ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER IN THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER!!!!  THIS WAS GIVING ISLAND THE CREDIT IT DESERVED - AS FONTANA WAS RELEASING THE RECORD FOR THEM AS THEY DIDNT HAVE THE CAPACITY.  HOWEVER THIS WASNT ENOUGH FOR ISLAND - AND SO THEY INSISTED THAT FONTANA INSERT THEIR 'ISLAND' LOGO ASWELL!!!!  AN SO ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THE ISLAND LOGO WAS PUT ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVERS!!!!  HOWEVER THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING WITH NO ISLAND LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' FONTANA LABELS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER WITH NO ISLAND LOGO!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Fontana MONO 1st pressing from 1965 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TL 5295 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!  All the tracks are pure quality Spencer Davis Group at their best!!!! Any fan of The Spencer Davis Group, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only a VERY few VERY light NON sounding scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!   The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 'Earliest' 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing AT ALL (cover back is 100% WHITE!), and NO rubbing!!!!  The cover must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
