SPERRMÜLL ~ KRAUTROCK – Heavy Prog Psych ORIGINAL GREEN BRAIN LABEL!! LISTEN!!

 1973/German/Brain Records 1026….. here’s a rare original kraut rock lp that seldom turns up for sale. The fragile fully laminated gatefold cover is in nice STRONG VG+ condition with light corner wear, very light WAVINESS TO THE COVER(SEE PICS), A FEW VERY LIGHT HANDLING CREASES AND A FEW TINY CREASES ON THE OUTER EDGES, THE COVER IS LIGHTLY SQUASHED DUE TO STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS, otherwise the cover is solid and VERY clean with no splits. The vinyl is in VG condition with MANY soft whispy hairlines/scuffs and A HANDFUL OF LIGHT HAIRLINE SCRATCHES on side two, LIGHT STORAGE STAINING from the poly lined inner sleeve AS WELL. the record plays excellent with light noise BETWEEN THE ODD track and the odd quiet spot(MAINLY ON SIDE TWO). tHERE ARE ALSO SOME SOFT TICKS MOSTLY ON SIDE TWO BUT NOTHING TO TAKE AWAY FROM THE LISTENING PLEASURE. The record plays fine with no skips, jumps or sticks and plays through with CLEAN crisp fidelity. i HAVE RECORDED THE RECORD BEING OFFERED FROM START TO FINISH AND i HAVE NOT FILTERED OR TAMPERED WITH THE SOUND. wHAT YOU HEAR IS WHAT YOU GET. sTILL A VERY NICE SOUNDING COPY! Long time lost krautrock classic delivering a dynamic, complex combination between fuzzy freak out improvisations full of Hammond organs and catchy heavy guitar leads & folk epic arrangements for the flute. They published only one album in 1973 in a rather anonymus way at D. Dierks's studio  for the Brain label in a very small number. A very accomplished essay. Similar to (early) Deep Purple, Nosferatu and Rufus Zuphall.

GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

NM or M- or Mint Minus is the same to me, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches. If I list a rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
