SPIDER-MAN ROCK REFLECTIONS OF A SUPERHERO LIFESONG LP VINYL RECORD 1976 ROMITA ART LS6001
Long before the SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK Broadway musical, Stan Lee headed another musical adaptation of the Spidey story with this 1976 album advertised heavily in Marvel comics of the time. SIPDER-MAN: REFLECTIONS OF A SUPERHERO features a dozen original songs about Spidey, his friends and foes with Stan Lee narration and musical back up by the Marvel heroes themselves (at least according to the John Romita Sr drawings on the back cover). LP is a review copy and has the cut out on the upper right corner of the sleeve. Overall sleeve quality is fair with cover showing moisture relating staining and blemishes on the bottom third (as per photo). Sleeve is fully intact with no splits. Spine is in good shape. Back cover also has notable moisture related blemish on the bottom quarter, but all the Romita art is unaffected. Record is in the original Lifestong paper jacket with some light wear. Record itself is in EX or so condition with good gloss, few notable scratches or blemishes and plays very well. Record label is in EX+ shape. Overall, a good original LP edition of this hard to find 1976 Marvel vinyl LP.
